We’re a fast-growing digital newsroom with 1,178 local sites covering 83 counties across Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

What We’re Looking For

We want reporters who:

• Live for the news—keeping up in real time, digging through sources, and spotting the stories that matter.
• Get the details that count—verifying tips, developing sources, and asking the right questions to bring stories to life.
• Make stories irresistible—crafting sharp headlines, using strong visuals, and engaging readers across platforms.
• Thrive in digital-first reporting—using social media as both a source and a distribution channel, using AI to work more efficiently and create a better news product.
• Bring drive and adaptability—competitive, quick to learn a new territory, independent yet collaborative, and meticulous about notes and sourcing.

Experience & Skills

• Professional journalism experience will serve you well, but is not strictly required.
• Excellent writing and grammar, fluency in AP style, and a commitment to writing in Daily Voice’s tone.
• Comfortable adopting new tools and workflows that support fast, accurate reporting.
