Newsroom Editor

• Content Management: Oversee daily news flow, assign stories, manage deadlines, and review final copy before publication.
• Editing & Quality Control: Edit for grammar, style, factual accuracy, clarity, and conciseness; fact-check stories and verify details.
• Team Leadership: Guide reporters, provide mentorship, coordinate with other departments (design, photo, multimedia), and foster a strong editorial vision.
• Strategy & Planning: Develop content strategies, identify significant stories, monitor news trends, and plan special projects.
• Breaking News: Manage the desk during breaking news, monitor feeds, and coordinate immediate coverage.
• Ethics & Standards: Ensure all content adheres to journalistic ethics and organizational policies.
• Multimedia Integration: Work with multimedia teams to create integrated, engaging content.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
