Next JS developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Next.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing modern, high-performance web applications using Next.js, React, and related technologies. You will collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless, user-friendly digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive, scalable, and high-performing web applications using Next.js and React.js.
• Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes in Next.js.
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs into the frontend.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and SEO.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to turn mockups into functional components.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring code quality and reusability.
• Work closely with backend teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and frameworks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Front-End or Full-Stack Developer using Next.js and React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with Node.js, API integration, and Git version control.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization in Next.js.
• Familiarity with deployment platforms like Vercel, AWS, or Firebase.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and code testing frameworks is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Redux, Context API, or React Query.
• Familiarity with headless CMSs (e.g., Strapi, Sanity, Contentful).
• Knowledge of Docker and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles.
