Next Steps Executive Assistant

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide high level administrative support for Next Steps, Guest Services, and Missions centrally.
  • Coordinate and manage the Next Steps calendar.
  • Coordinate and manage content development and delivery.
  • Collaborate with central Data Team and Communications Team to support database functions and move assigned projects to completion.
  • Provide scheduling, coordination, and hospitality support for team meetings.
  • Manage billing and payment processes for Missions.
  • Assist with coordinating trips and teams for Missions.
  • Perform office tasks and basic bookkeeping, including maintaining records and files, and ordering supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS – To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of senior level administrative experience
  • Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with tight deadlines.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective customer service, relational and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate heart for the ministry and people of the church family at SVCC. Possess the desire to aid Pastors in fulfilling their responsibilities and lighten their load whenever possible.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all situations.
  • Demonstrate spiritual maturity and character consistent with the Biblical requirements for church leadership.
  • Agree and align with the mission, vision, leadership distinctives, and doctrinal statement of SVCC.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five years of related experience
