About the Role

Sparking Asia is seeking a skilled and motivated Next.js & Supabase Expert to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-performance web applications, managing backend services, and ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize modern web applications using Next.js
• Design and manage backend services using Supabase (Auth, Database, Storage, Functions)
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access
• Integrate APIs and third-party services efficiently
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and SEO
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Debug, test, and continuously improve application functionality

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with Next.js (App Router / Pages Router)
• Strong hands-on experience with Supabase
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and modern web architecture
• Experience with Git and version control workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice to Have (Plus Points)

• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG)
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or modern UI frameworks
• Basic DevOps or deployment experience (Vercel, Docker, etc.)
