Job Summary:

The NICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care to neonates requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. The nurse ensures adherence to hospital policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting family-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill or premature newborns requiring intensive support.
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators, infusion pumps, and other NICU equipment.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and document findings accurately in the medical record.
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
  • Educate and support parents and families regarding infant care and condition updates.
  • Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for neonates.
  • Participate in continuous professional development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in emergency situations, including neonatal resuscitation and stabilization.
  • Uphold the hospital’s mission, vision, and values in all professional interactions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification recognized by the DHA.
  • Licensure: Valid DHA Eligibility Letter or License as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of recent experience in Level III NICU.
  • Certifications: BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) mandatory.
  • Language: Proficiency in English; Arabic knowledge an advantage.

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Compassionate approach toward neonates and families.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and NICU monitoring systems.
  • Experience working in NICU Level III is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
