Duties

  • Greet and assist guests during late-night arrivals and early departures with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Manage front desk operations including check-in, check-out, and handling guest inquiries with excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system proficiency.
  • Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts, verifying charges, payments, and reservations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare detailed reports on daily financial transactions, occupancy levels, and any discrepancies or incidents that occur during the shift.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, or special needs promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and foster positive guest relations.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address room issues or service requests efficiently.
  • Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, controlling access points, and ensuring the safety of guests and staff throughout the night.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles, particularly in front desk or night audit functions.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and strong communication abilities; bilingual or multilingual skills are highly valued.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software systems and multi-line phone systems; previous experience with resort or hotel environments is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently during overnight hours while managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail for financial audits, record keeping, and reporting accuracy.
  • Knowledge of guest services standards, hotel policies, and security procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests and staff.
