Night Auditor / Front Desk Agent

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at our hotel. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight hours, providing exceptional customer service to our guests while performing essential accounting tasks. Duties

• Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all hotel accounts.
• Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing excellent guest services.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
• Process payments and manage cash handling procedures efficiently.
• Utilize multi-line phone systems to assist guests with their requests and provide information about hotel services.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, including housekeeping and maintenance.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality by demonstrating professionalism and effective phone etiquette.

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role is preferred, particularly in night audit functions.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
• Familiarity with front desk operations, resort environments, and hospitality management principles is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
