Job Overview:
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the initial point of contact for our guests, embodying a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure a seamless check-in and check-out process. Your role will involve providing guests with information about our hotel amenities, services, and local attractions while addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Operating phone systems, assisting with reservations, and conducting night audit procedures will also be part of your responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, maintaining a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all guest information.
- Provide detailed information about hotel facilities, services, and nearby attractions to enhance guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist in making reservations and assigning rooms based on guest preferences.
- Operate phone systems effectively by answering calls promptly and directing them to the appropriate department.
- Perform night audit procedures meticulously to ensure precise financial reporting.
- Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building positive guest relations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Proficiency in utilizing front desk software and computer systems for efficient operations.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are advantageous.
- Knowledge of hospitality management and hotel operations is beneficial.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
