Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor/Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while effectively handling various operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food items meet quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed and minimizing waste.
- Train new employees on operational procedures, customer service techniques, and safety protocols.
- Monitor sales performance and assist with retail math calculations to optimize profitability.
- Utilize Toast POS system for processing transactions and managing sales reports.
Skills
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within a food service or retail environment.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic math skills for daily operational tasks including cash handling and reporting.
- Experience in coffee preparation is desirable but not mandatory.

Our Managerss receive tips along with our team. Base pay starts at $16, and tips are generally 20-40% additional.
Weekends are mandatory. This position is for nights and weekends.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
