Night Incharge / Assistant Manager (Supermarket)

1. Job Purpose

To supervise and manage all night operations of the supermarket, ensure smooth workflow, maintain store standards, and achieve sales and customer service targets during night shifts.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Store Operations

• Oversee all night shift activities and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure all departments (Grocery, Fresh Food, Chiller, Freezer, Non-Food, etc.) follow company SOPs.
• Monitor receiving, stocking, facing, and FIFO/FEFO procedures.
• Conduct night audits and ensure all sections are clean and well-organized.
• Coordinate with security for safety and loss prevention.

B. Staff Management

• Manage night-shift staff and assign daily duties.
• Ensure punctuality, discipline, and performance of all employees.
• Provide support, guidance, and quick problem resolution to staff.
• Conduct briefings and update employees on daily tasks and priorities.

C. Inventory & Expiry Control

• Monitor stock availability and report shortages or damages.
• Ensure accurate stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
• Reduce expired and damaged items through proper checks.
• Assist with inventory counts and daily stock verification.

D. Customer Service

• Ensure excellent customer service during night operations.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues immediately.
• Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.

E. Sales & Reporting

• Support in achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
• Prepare and submit night-shift reports to the Store Manager.
• Highlight operational issues, staff concerns, and maintenance needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
