Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
Duration: Approximately 1 month
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

Seeking an experienced Certified Newborn Care Specialist / Night Infant Care Nanny for a private family who has recently relocated to the area.

This is a temporary reinforcement placement for approximately one month, providing overnight support for a 5-month-old infant. The family has previously worked with a newborn care specialist and is seeking a seasoned professional who can step in seamlessly to maintain the infant’s established nighttime routine and support continued healthy sleep patterns.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with infant sleep development and the ability to reinforce sleep training methods that may already be in place.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide attentive overnight care for a 5-month-old infant during 12-hour night shifts
Support and reinforce established sleep training routines and healthy sleep habits
Manage nighttime feedings as required
Monitor the infant’s comfort, safety, and developmental needs throughout the night
Maintain a calm, structured sleep environment
Communicate clearly with parents regarding nighttime patterns or changes
Follow best practices in infant care, hygiene, and safe sleep protocols

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of professional experience caring for infants as a Newborn Care Specialist or Infant Care Nanny
Newborn Care Specialist certification required
Demonstrated experience supporting and reinforcing infant sleep training
Strong understanding of infant development during the 4–6 month stage
Discreet, polished, and comfortable working in private homes
Reliable, calm, and highly organized in overnight settings
Recent infant-related references required
