Night Nurse

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients during overnight shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients' conditions, administering medication, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the night. Duties

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition during the night shift
• Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely in accordance with healthcare protocols
• Provide patient care, including assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort needs
• Record and report any changes in patient conditions to the relevant medical team promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment within the ward or care setting
• Respond swiftly to emergencies or urgent health concerns as they arise

Requirements

• Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
• Competence in medication administration following strict safety guidelines
• Ability to remain calm and focused during emergencies or stressful situations
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Valid nursing qualification recognised by relevant authorities
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and bank holidays if required
• Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
