Position Summary:
The Night Security – Employee Housing position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, secure, and respectful living environment for employees residing in company housing. This position requires a reliable, observant individual who can enforce housing policies, support quiet hours, and respond calmly and appropriately to issues that may arise during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities:

Patrol employee housing areas regularly between Late night to Early morning to monitor for safety and security issues.

Enforce housing rules, including quiet hours and curfew expectations.

Prevent and report underage drinking, drug use, or any other illegal activities.

Ensure that housing facilities are secure (locked doors, lights functioning, etc.) and report any suspicious activity.

Provide basic support to residents as needed during overnight hours (non-emergency issues).

Perform light cleaning duties such as trash pickup, straightening common areas, and reporting maintenance concerns.

Write and submit a nightly report documenting any incidents or observations to the Housing Manager.

Communicate effectively with the Housing Manager and escalate issues as needed.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Prior security, military, or relevant experience preferred but not required.

Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism.

Ability to remain alert and observant throughout the night shift.

Good communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Ability to work independently and follow established policies.

Must pass a background check.

Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Primarily outdoors or in common areas of employee housing facilities.

Requires walking between buildings, climbing stairs, and light physical activity.

May be exposed to varying weather conditions.
