Night Time Dispatcher

Position Overview

The Dispatcher is the communication hub between customers, drivers, law enforcement, major fleet companies, dealerships, and insurance partners. This position requires strong decision-making skills, organization, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

You will be responsible for coordinating services for everything from roadside assistance to heavy-duty commercial recoveries.

Responsibilities

  • Answer high-volume incoming calls professionally
  • Dispatch calls for:
  • Police rotations
  • Large commercial fleet breakdowns
  • Local dealership transports
  • Motor club roadside assistance
  • Heavy-duty recoveries
  • Gather accurate service details (location, vehicle info, authorization, billing method)
  • Prioritize emergency and time-sensitive calls
  • Communicate directly with fleet managers and dealership service departments
  • Enter detailed and accurate notes into dispatch software
  • Monitor driver locations and job completion
  • Process payments and verify authorizations
  • Maintain organized dispatch logs and documentation

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous dispatch, logistics, trucking, or high-volume customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and think quickly
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Professional phone presence
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Knowledge of local highways and surrounding areas is a plus
  • Must be dependable and punctual

This is a high-volume, fast-paced dispatch environment serving emergency services and large commercial accounts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $700.00 - $900.00 per week
