Western Towing is looking for a top-notch Night Shift Dispatcher. The Tow dispatchers are required to maintain a high level of professionalism and self-control while working in stressful situations. Communication is key; being able to understand and relay information from the customer to the tow truck operator is essential. This position will also include the Courtesy Patrol dispatch.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Take calls from the customers and dispatch tow truck accordingly.
* Evaluate customer situation/needs and advise the tow drivers.
* Maintain control of the tow trucks and drivers, while ensuring that the customers’ situation/needs are taken care of in a quick and efficient manner.
* Keep customers up to date on their tow/job requests.
* Ensure that the drivers are charging the correct rate and filling their tow tickets out completely.
* Review and enter tow reports into TMW.
* Keep TMW current to what the tow trucks are doing.
* Help customers and Western with billing issues and corrections.
* Work as a team, keep the towing and company goals in mind at all times. Re-enforce goals and company policies to the drivers.
* Helping drivers find locations and calling for more information on a job or tow.
Daily Tasks:
* Quote tow and landoll moves according to the rates set forth by the TGM
* Help drivers find locations and call for more information on a job or tow
* Relay information to the DS, OM, and TGM about customer issues
Work Schedule:
Full time, Mon - Wed: 7:00 pm-6:00 am, Sat: 6:00 am-5:00 pm (1 hour lunch)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
