Position Overview:

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in acute care or hospital medicine to join our night shift team in Hillsborough County, FL. This hybrid role involves in-person hospital rounding from 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM, followed by remote on-call coverage until 7:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hospital rounding on follow-up patients.
• Conduct history & physical (H&P) exams for new admissions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and care plans.
• Educate patients on health conditions, medications, and treatment plans.

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) (Required).
• DEA License (Required).
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospitalist experience (Required).
• Hospitalist Fellowship Training (Preferred).
• Strong knowledge of hospital medicine, acute care, and chronic disease management.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Schedule & Work Model:

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 7 ON / 7 OFF schedule
• Hybrid model: On-site hospital rounding (7:00 PM - 12:00 AM) + Remote coverage (12:00 AM - 7:00 AM)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $120,000 – $145,000 per year (DOE)
