Job Title: Nighttime and Weekend Laundromat Cleaner
Location: Watertown, SD
Schedule: Part-time – Nights (typically 6 PM – 8 PM) + Weekends (10am - 3pm & 6pm - 8pm)

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Nighttime & Weekend Laundromat Attendant to ensure our laundry facility operates smoothly during evening and weekend hours. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional customer service, maintain cleanliness, and oversee the proper functioning of laundry equipment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for our customers while ensuring efficient operations throughout your shift. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their laundry needs during night and weekend shifts
• Operate laundry machines, dryers, and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat, including tidying work areas and ensuring machines are in good working order
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Provide friendly customer support by answering questions, offering guidance on machine use, and resolving issues promptly
• Monitor the facility for safety hazards or maintenance needs and report them to management
• Keep detailed records of transactions, machine usage, and maintenance logs to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality, hotel service, or dry cleaning is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and cleaning
• Knowledge of laundry operations or experience with laundry equipment is a plus
• Reliable availability during nighttime hours and weekends to support our busy schedule
• Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively and work well within a team
