Night/Weekend Dispatcher - Remote Position

HLB Transportation Services is currently looking for a Full Time Night/Weekend Dispatcher to work from home! This position comes with an alternating weekly schedule of 3 days on/4 days off; 4 days on/3 days off the following week. You will work one weekend day every weekend. Candidate must have dispatch experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls
• Dispatch drivers on routes and enter load information into dispatch program
• Track all loads in transit
• Answer all breakdown and issue related calls in a timely manner to efficiently repair all breakdowns on the road.
• Communicate with customers and drivers to provide details regarding shipments, deliveries, and special handling
• Carry out other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Candidate must have dispatch experience,
• Be able to problem solve on their own, work well one-on-one with others.
• Must be able to communicate with customers in a professional manner.
• Required experience in Microsoft Word and Excel as well as any Dispatch TMS system. Experience with Owner Operators is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to problem solve on your own.
• Bilingual is a plus.
