Position Summary
This role serves as the primary NII Maintenance Technician for the AOR, with a secondary mission of executing the aggressive Preventative Maintenance Program at remote satellite sites. The technician shall perform complex maintenance and calibration on Non-Intrusive Security Screening systems while simultaneously ensuring all site assets - including SkyWatch Towers and MP5000 Barriers-undergo rigorous scheduled servicing. The technician is responsible for identifying and ordering necessary spare parts and tooling to ensure each satellite site remains self-sufficient between major maintenance visits.
When deployed regionally, the technician provides full-spectrum support for armored guard shacks, generators, and A/C systems. They must proactively manage the site's "Sovereign Resilience" by salvaging parts where appropriate and maintaining the readiness of hydraulic and electronic systems. This role requires extensive regional travel and the ability to operate independently to meet the Lead Technician's PM program mandates.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

System Maintenance: Execute complex calibration and repairs on NII equipment, including X-ray units, hydraulic systems, and high-voltage power supplies.

Infrastructure Support: Support the maintenance and repair of armored Force Protection/Antiterrorism assets and integrated environmental controls, ensuring climate-sensitive security electronics remain within operational parameters.

Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose faults in integrated security sensors and surveillance feeds to ensure continuous site protection.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or five (5) years of progressive, documented experience in a military or commercial electronics maintenance setting.

Military Experience: Equivalent to a U.S. Navy Electronics Technician (ET) or U.S. Army 94-series MOS at the E-5 or above level.

Certified in NII/Screening technology and hydraulic systems.

Technical Compliance: Maintain 100% NII calibration accuracy and 100% completion of PM tasks at remote sites during deployment windows.

Supply Readiness: Ensure all remote sites have a verified "Adequate" stock of Class IX parts and tools upon mission completion.
Citizenship and Security Clearance

An active Secret Security Clearance is required.
