Nikiski Parts Coordinator LOCAL

General Description:

This position will be responsible for driving CCI's Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success. CCI Industrial Services leads the industry in Safety, Innovation, and Excellence. CCI's mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development
companies. This position is a 2x2 rotation in the Nikiski Mechanics Shop. LOCAL - home every night - individual MUST be local.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

• Ensures a safe work environment.
• Purchases, stores, and issues spare parts for motor vehicles & industrial equipment.
• Obtains description of items needed.
• Reads parts manuals to ascertain type and specification of part.
• Processes requisitions and submits to purchasing.
• Compares receiving docs against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received.
• Stores purchased parts in storeroom bins and issues parts per work orders.
• Keeps records of parts received and issued, and inventories parts in storeroom routinely.
• Loads/unloads freight with forklift.
• Requisitions parts from central parts department.

Other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and severe outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles in a mechanical shop environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection and the use of safety eyewear is required in most working situations.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Experience in parts management required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift experience preferred
• Proficient with other Microsoft Office applications is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee's ability to perform to the job standard. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.
• HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
• VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
• LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from wait level to shoulder height and carry 50 pounds for 20 feet.
• RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.

Contingencies:

Offer contingent upon ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, as well as random drug screenings per CCI's D&A policies.
