Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accounts Teacher to deliver instruction aligned with the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) curriculum. The ideal candidate will support students in understanding accounting principles, preparing for NIOS examinations, and developing practical financial skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Accountancy subjects as per NIOS secondary and senior secondary curriculum

- Develop lesson plans, study materials, and assessments tailored to NIOS guidelines

- Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs

- Prepare students for NIOS board examinations, including theory and practical components

- Conduct regular tests, assignments, and progress evaluations

- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic performance reports

- Guide students in project work and internal assessments

- Use innovative teaching methods, including digital tools where applicable

- Offer career guidance related to commerce and accounting fields

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field (mandatory)

- Master’s degree (M.Com) preferred

- B.Ed or teaching certification (preferred)

- Strong knowledge of NIOS curriculum and examination pattern

Experience:

- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in Accountancy

- Experience with NIOS or similar open schooling systems is an advantage

Skills and Competencies:

- Strong conceptual knowledge of accounting principles

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts

- Patience and adaptability to work with diverse learners

- Proficiency in MS Office and online teaching platforms (if applicable)
