NJ Licensed Dental Hygienist

Position Details

• Part-Time or Full-Time Opportunities Available
• Some Evening and Saturday Hours are Required

Duties

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing.
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
• Take digital radiographs and proficiency in using digital systems such as Open Dental
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
• Support infection control protocols by practicing aseptic techniques and sterilizing instruments according to industry standards.
• Review documentation, assist with medical coding, and ensure all patient records are complete and up-to-date within our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RDH License
• Active CPR Certification
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Commitment to Patient-Centered Care
• Proficiency in dental software such as Open Dental for scheduling, documentation review, and record management.
