About This Position
Our Brenham, Texas terminal is actively hiring CDL-A drivers for a regional fleet hauling dry van and reefer freight across the South and South Central states. This is a quiet market with serious freight behind it. New CDL-A graduates are encouraged to apply - structured onboarding and full support from day one.

Home Time Commitment

• Home Friday evening through Sunday most weeks - no exceptions
• Structured weekly schedule - Monday out, Friday back
• No forced OTR, no extended runs past the 600-mile radius

Equipment and Lanes

• Automatic transmission trucks
• Assigned truck - you drive the same unit every week
• South and South Central regional lanes: TX, LA, OK, AR, and NM
• 300–600 mile radius from the Brenham terminal
• 100% no-touch dry van and reefer freight every load

Compensation

• Starting CPM for new CDL-A graduates: $0.65
• Experienced drivers with verifiable Class A history: $0.68–$0.75 CPM
• Weekly pay range: $1,500–$1,800
• Annual pay range: $78,000–$95,000
• Sign-on bonus: $2,000
• Orientation pay: $300
• Performance and safety bonuses available year-round

Driver Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license - current and active
• 21 years of age or older
• No SAP program history | No DUI offenses on record
• Must pass DOT physical and hair follicle drug screening
• English communication required for terminal dispatch interaction

Your Daily Responsibilities

• Run South and South Central regional lanes out of the Brenham, TX terminal
• Monitor and log reefer unit temperatures on temperature-controlled loads throughout each run
• Perform complete DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor and trailer daily
• Maintain ELD log accuracy and full FMCSA hours of service compliance at all times
• Report delays, load issues, or route changes to dispatch immediately - no waiting until delivery
