No Shift Work Field Engineer (Bilingual Mandarin)

Overview:

JY techs was established in 2009. Its main customers are international semiconductor factories located in Taiwan Science Park. Currently, JY techs is developing new business in Phoenix and is a qualified supplier of TSMC az. JY Techs is committed to providing professional engineering services to semiconductor factories.

JY Techs provides the provision of engineering services for the clean room integration engineering, the sales of precision ancillary equipment for the semiconductor industry, equipment parts manufacturing and repairs.

As a Field Engineer at JY techs in Phoenix is responsible for assisting the Superintendent for finishing and ensuring site engineering, schedule, and safety for their assigned project(s) including installing, coordinating, and sequencing work to ensure the work is completed on time. This role will require 60-90% time work in a clean room environment (depending on engineering schedule) and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

This is a “Working Engineer position” and must be willing / able to be “Hands On”.

Responsibilities:

-Performs on-site engineering

-Troubleshoots on-site problems

-Install different engineering for clean room on customer sites

-Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to finish different tasks

-Employees must also maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both company and customers to maintain credentials for being on customer site(s)

-Responds to emergency service calls as required

-Onsite within a cleanroom environment for engineering construction and operations.

Education and Experience:

-Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Preference for engineering or science background.

-Ability to organize in-house and subcontracted engineering services.

-Strong hands-on skills. Must be able to work with hand tools.

-Prior experience in semiconductor engineering/ Construction engineering/ Mechanical Engineering are preferred.

Skills:

-Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

-Demonstrate open, clear, concise and professional communication.

-Work according to a strict set of procedures within the provided timelines.

-Excellent organization and time-management. Ability to multi-task and set priorities without jeopardizing project schedule.

-Assess safety and risks, ensuring compliance with all customer site rules.

-Bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English are preferred.

-Must be comfortable with a rapidly changing work environment.

Role within the Factory:

- Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of working.

- The employee Must be willing to lift up to 20 pounds and spend the majority of time on the floor or ladder working on engineering in the factory.
