Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans and assist patients in their recovery journey. Your expertise in anatomy and various therapeutic techniques will be essential in providing high-quality care to our patients across different settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and home health environments.

Duties

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients.
• Provide hands-on therapy techniques including trigger point therapy and other modalities as directed.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist.
• Educate patients on exercises and activities to enhance their recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff within the clinic.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes, particularly in geriatrics and orthopedics.

Experience

• Knowledge of human anatomy is essential for effective patient care.
• Experience with care plans tailored for various patient demographics, including geriatrics, is preferred.
• Familiarity with different therapy settings such as outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and home health services is advantageous.
• Previous experience or training in physical therapy practices is beneficial.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of physical therapy is highly valued.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, 1099

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour (Based on experience and level of independence)

Expected hours: You tell me what you can commit to prior to signing the contract. We are hiring for Monday-Thursday 9am-7pm or Monday-Thursday 2pm-7pm. Our office is closed on Fridays. =)
