The NOC FO Operations Manager is responsible for leading the Network Operations Center Front Office team, ensuring uninterrupted monitoring and management of Radio Access Network (RAN) infrastructure across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies. This role focuses on operational excellence, incident management, compliance, and driving digital transformation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Operational Management: Oversee daily NOC Front Office operations, ensuring 24/7 network monitoring, incident detection, and initial response for RAN infrastructure.
  • Incident Management: Manage identification, logging, diagnosis, and resolution of network incidents, escalating complex issues to Level 2/3 teams as required.
  • Process & Procedure Implementation: Develop and enhance SOPs, incident response plans, and escalation protocols for efficient operations.
  • Communication & Coordination: Act as the primary liaison during outages, ensuring timely updates to management, internal teams, and customers.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Utilize tools like Nokia NetAct to monitor KPIs/SLAs and prepare regular performance and incident reports for senior leadership.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor NOC analysts and technicians, manage shift schedules, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements (CST, FCC), and internal policies. Conduct audits and health checks.
  • Digital Transformation & Automation: Drive implementation of automation initiatives and ensure team compliance for smooth execution.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Experience: Extensive experience in network operations or telecommunications, with proven leadership in a NOC environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of RAN infrastructure, network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP), and monitoring tools. Experience in automation and digital transformation is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex network issues.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities to manage teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field; vendor certifications preferred.
