Job Purpose
The Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager is responsible for providing the highest level of support in maintaining network uptime, robust fault resolution, strong incident management, and quick network restoration. The position focuses primarily on ensuring that TASC network monitoring systems operate efficiently without interruption in a 24x7 environment, combining both a technical mastery of network surveillance technologies as well as strong management skills to lead a team of NOC technicians towards this goal.
Roles and Responsibilities

Ensure TASC Network Operation Center compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Ensure that the TASC Network Operations Center runs efficiently without interruption to assure rapid and proper responses in a 24x7 environment.

Deliver network services that meet customer requirements or service level agreements pertaining to network uptime maintenance, fault management, and adequate response and escalation times.

Develop robust incident management procedures that meet both internal and external expectations.

Secure the TASC Network Operations Center team's adherence to end-to-end fault management processes from alarm generation to network operation.

Ensure concrete implementation of network diagnostics to identify and describe network fault symptoms to TASC operations personnel.

Create and maintain strong and transparent channels of communications concerning the status of network systems with various stakeholders including upper management, clients, and operations teams.

Possess a strong understanding of existing and evolving network management systems, alarm processing protocols, and remote network connectivity modules.

Required Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Network Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Master’s Degree preferred
Experience
-
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a NOC environment including a technical background in data networking.

Minimum five (5) years of experience in the Middle East market

Previous management experience.
