NOC MED TECH / CAREGIVER - read description please

* HIRING FOR NOC SHIFTS!

Shifts OPEN: 10pm-6am:

Shifts are FULL-TIME schedules

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Caregiver/Med-Tech and is certified to pass medication.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting our residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, some transferring, & mobility, with light housekeeping tasks;
• Engaging them in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance;
• Responding to all of their needs and/or requests for care promptly, and in a caring compassionate fashion;
• Keep the environment safe and clean for our residents; Observe and uphold their rights at all times;
• Report any changes from their baseline, including physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences to nursing, for follow-up.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of systems for providing care to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus
• Ability to lift and transfer residents using proper techniques and equipment
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic computer skills for charting and record keeping.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with residents of all ages
• Basic knowledge of medication administration procedures is preferred
• First aid and CPR certification
• Clean criminal background check and drug test

Hours: Part-time. To respect your balance between work and home for our caregivers and Med Techs, we provide standardized full-time and part-time schedules so you can still enjoy your life outside of work. We may require that each of our staff members work, at least one weekend day.
