Hiring for Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Medication Technician (Med Tech) assists residents with medication administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse and in accordance with facility policies, state regulations, and physician orders. Med Tech also provides resident care, monitors resident well-being, and supports a safe, comfortable environment during overnight hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist residents with prescribed medications according to facility policies and approved training.
• Accurately document medication administration and resident observations.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the supervisor or licensed nurse.
• Perform routine resident care tasks, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Conduct safety and wellness checks throughout the night.
• Maintain medication carts, storage areas, and records in an organized manner.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.
• Respond appropriately to resident call systems and emergencies.
• Assist with light housekeeping and preparation for the day shift as assigned.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred.
• Completion of facility-approved medication administration training.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within assigned responsibilities.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
