Noise Expert / Acoustic Consultant

Job Responsibilities:

• Noise Assessment & Analysis
• Conduct detailed assessments of environmental and occupational noise sources, including baseline noise modeling and prediction.
• Identify key noise-generating activities, equipment, and processes.
• Interpret acoustic data and ensure compliance with relevant national and international noise standards and regulations.
• Mitigation Strategy Development
• Develop practical and cost-effective noise mitigation and control strategies for construction, industrial, transport, and operational activities.
• Recommend design modifications, equipment specifications, and operational changes to reduce noise impacts.
• Propose suitable materials, barriers, and technologies for noise attenuation.
• Technical Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare comprehensive noise impact assessment reports, modeling outputs, and technical memos.
• Develop Noise Management Plans (NMP) and Environmental Noise Monitoring Plans (ENMP).
• Provide input for Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environmental Management Plans (EMP).
• Compliance & Regulatory Support
• Ensure all mitigation measures meet legal and regulatory noise limits.
• Liaise with environmental authorities, clients, and stakeholders on noise-related issues.
• Support environmental audits and inspections related to noise control.
• Capacity Building & Advisory Support
• Provide training and guidance to project teams on best practices in noise management.
• Advise on procurement and installation of noise control solutions and equipment.
• Offer expert opinion during community consultations and grievance redressal related to noise impacts.
• Coordination & Collaboration
• Work closely with environmental, engineering, and health & safety teams to integrate noise mitigation into overall project design and management.
• Coordinate with third-party consultants or agencies as necessary for specialized studies.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ﷼12,000.00 - ﷼15,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Acoustic Consultant: 4 years (Preferred)
