Position Summary

The Non-Agency Trading Manager Capital Markets manages Kind Lending’s Capital Markets NON QM, Closed end Seconds and other Non Agency products. Includes pricing of mortgage products for all channels, Loan Sales, Trading and Hedging, oversight of all Analytics and pricing engines as well as margin management and reporting for NON QM and Closed End Seconds Production.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for selling NON-QM and Closed End Seconds mortgage loan inventory. Including maintenance and oversight/adherence to Kind Lending’s risk management standards.
• Manages the rate risk of the NON-QM and Closed End Seconds mortgage pipeline with hedging, trading, and loan sale activities.
• Responsible for Pricing and Margin Management of the NON QM and Closed End Seconds book.
• Obtain/Maintain positive investor relationships to facilitate achieving best execution of asset sales to maximize profitability.
• Oversee the development of management reporting on loan statistics for NON-QM and Closed End Seconds pipeline margin management as well as loan sales activities. Provides reporting and profitability figures to executive management.
• Manages department staff.
• Responsible for managing and reporting on various Kind Lending initiatives particularly those related to new products, pricing, new investors, and loan sales activities.
• Manages the Capital Markets departmental audits by providing appropriate documentation and reconciliations and other reports as requested.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, concentration in Accounting/Finance or equivalent in combined education and experience in the mortgage industry.
• Minimum of 4 years mortgage lending and secondary marketing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a NON-QM specific management role with significant Capital Markets experience in loan sales / securitization activities for NON QM loans.
• Significant prior hands-on experience and knowledge of NON-QM products along with corresponding Underwriting guidelines/structuring of NON QM loans.
  
  

Pay Disclosure

The starting base pay for this position is $110,000/annually. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
