Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and delivery vehicles, including manual transmission models, across assigned routes
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and manual lifting techniques
• Deliver packages and goods to customers’ locations with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction
• Manage route driving schedules, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs
• Assist with warehouse activities such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license suitable for operating box trucks; experience with manual transmissions preferred
• Proven delivery driver experience or similar roles involving route driving and heavy lifting
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy packages, moving items, and operating pallet jacks or forklifts (certification a plus)
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations is advantageous
• Must obtain a valid DOT Medical Card in compliance with federal transportation regulations
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws
