Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck with manual transmission to deliver products to customers across designated routes.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of goods.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing delivery needs promptly.
• Verify delivery addresses, complete route documentation, and ensure all shipments are accurate and accounted for.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards; report any mechanical issues immediately.
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Experience

• Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
• Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with strong communication skills.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and route driving is highly desirable.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform moving tasks safely.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures related to load & unload processes and inventory handling.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
