Job Description:
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Address: 2415 N Orange Ave
- Coordinates pre-transplant evaluations and assessments.
- Manages the transplant waiting list and patient status updates.
- Facilitates communication between patients, families, and the transplant team.
- Organizes and schedules transplant surgeries and related procedures.
- Provides education and support to patients and families throughout the transplant process.
- Monitors post-transplant recovery and follow‑up care.
- Manages donor organ procurement and transportation logistics.
- Communicates the schedule for stem cell collections/harvest with the dialysis department.
- Coordinates with the blood bank to facilitate designated donor and pheresis blood products for the patient.
- Coordinates pre‑ and post‑bone marrow transplant evaluations for the patient and donor, when applicable.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures related to transplant coordination.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong assessment skills [Preferred]
- Sound clinical judgment, decision making, and problem-solving skills [Preferred]
- Concise oral and written communication skills [Preferred]

Education:
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:- 1+ year leadership experience [Required]
- 1+ year of transplant, critical care [Required]
- 3+ year of critical nursing experience [Preferred]
- Critical care experience or palliative care of patients with life-limiting or life-threatening illness [Preferred]
- Teaching/preceptor experience [Preferred]
- Transplant care experience [Preferred]
