Non-Emergency Medical Driver

Everyday Taxi Powered by Med Lift is currently hiring a dependable and compassionate Ambulatory Driver to transport clients to and from medical appointments throughout Montrose and Delta Counties.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring our clients arrive safely and on time to life-sustaining medical treatments including dialysis, physical therapy, behavioral health appointments, methadone clinics, and other essential healthcare services.

✅ Job Responsibilities

• Safely transport ambulatory clients to and from scheduled medical appointments
• Provide door-to-door assistance when needed
• Ensure clients are treated with dignity, care, and respect at all times
• Maintain accurate trip logs and required documentation using company mobile software
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections
• Follow all Med Lift LLC policies and Colorado Medicaid NEMT guidelines
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle environment
• Communicate with dispatch regarding trip status, delays, or concerns

Schedule

• Part-Time with opportunity to move into Full-Time
• Shifts available between:
• 5:00 AM – 9:00 PM Sunday – Thursday
• 5:00 AM – Late Friday & Saturday (Taxi overflow opportunities available)

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Ability to pass:
• Background Check
• Drug Screening
• Medicaid Provider Compliance Requirements
• Ability to use a smartphone/tablet for trip routing and signatures
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to assist clients in and out of vehicles safely

Preferred (Not Required)

• Previous experience in:
• NEMT Transportation
• Healthcare
• Caregiving
• Taxi or Rideshare Services

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
