Full-Time Driver Opportunities Available – Join a Stable and Growing Team

Transportation on Demand provides wheelchair, ambulatory, and stretcher transportation services throughout South Carolina. As we continue expanding our fleet, we are actively hiring qualified drivers to join our team immediately.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from:
• Medical appointments
• Dialysis treatments
• Adult daycare centers
• Mental health facilities
• Other healthcare-related destinations
• Deliver reliable, timely, and professional transportation services

Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Be able to work independently and take initiative
• Possess strong problem-solving skills
• Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude
• Be detail-oriented, dependable, and customer-focused
• Demonstrate punctuality at all times
• Have flexible daytime availability based on business needs
• Own and confidently use a smartphone or tablet
• Be at least 25 years old
• Have a clean 10-year motor vehicle record with:
• No major violations
• No multiple traffic violations within the last 3 years
• Pass:
• Criminal background check
• No felonies within the last 10 years
• No misdemeanors within the last 5 years
• Drug screening
• DOT physical
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Have a court record with a plus 3 or above driving record (exceptions may apply)

Certifications

The following certifications are required and can be provided upon hire:

• CPR
• First Aid
• Defensive Driving
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Hands-On Training
• HIPAA

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous driving experience, especially in non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT)
• Retirees are encouraged to apply

Additional Information

Locations: Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Laurens, Richland, Lexington, and surrounding areas in South Carolina

Pay Rate: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour for experienced stretcher, wheelchair, and ambulatory drivers
