Touch of Kindness Transportaion is looking for dependable Stretcher Attendants to assist our drivers in transporting patients safely. You will be part of a two-person team responsible for the comfort and safety of patients who require stretcher or wheelchair assistance.

Experience & Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with the right heart and attitude. While we can teach you how to operate a vehicle and secure a wheelchair, we cannot teach compassion.

• No Experience Required: We provide full training for the right person!
• Preferred Backgrounds: We highly value candidates with experience as Caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, or those with a background in NEMT.

We Highly Prefer Candidates With:

• Drug Testing & Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment 10-panel drug screen and a comprehensive criminal background check.
• Heavy Lifting: This is a physically demanding role. You must be able to safely maneuver, lift, and stabilize stretchers and wheelchairs (50+ lbs) as part of a two-person team.
• Driver’s License (Preferred): While you are not the primary driver, a Clean Driver’s License is highly preferred. Having a solid driving record makes you a more valuable member of our team and provides opportunities for growth.
• Age: Must be 25+ years of age.

Your Responsibilities:

• Patient Handling: Act as the "second man" in a two-person team to safely load, unload, and secure stretcher patients.
• Safety & Monitoring: Monitor patient comfort and safety during transit and provide a calming presence.
• Professionalism: Communicate effectively with medical facility staff and families.
• Equipment Care: Ensure all stretchers and medical equipment are sanitized and in perfect working order.
