Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver

DRIVER PAY STARTS AT $20.00/HR AFTER TRAINING AND WILL INCREASE AS YOU IMPROVE WITH NO CAP ON PAY, TRAINING RATE: $19.00/HR. TRAINING LASTS 1-2 WEEKS DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.

We are seeking a dedicated Afternoon/Night Transport Driver to join our team. The Transport Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers or goods to their destinations in a stretcher or wheelchair.

*Responsibilities*

- Drive various types of vehicles, primarily wheelchair vans

- Move patients on wheelchairs and stretchers

- Assist patients with mobility issues

- Provide transportation services for passengers or deliver goods in a timely manner

- Communicate effectively with passengers or clients to ensure a pleasant experience

- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle

- Perform heavy lifting as needed

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

*Experience*

- Previous experience as a Van Driver, Paratransit Driver, Delivery Driver, or in a similar role is preferred

- Strong customer service skills

- Commercial driving experience is a plus

- Ability to maintain vehicles in good working condition

- Experience with NEMT driving is advantageous

SHIFT- 12:00 PM TO 8:00/9:00 PM, FULL TIME
