Non Emergency Medical Transport Driver

Qualifications

• Drivers must have passenger driver experience and working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Must have a clean driving record NO DUI, traffic violations within the last 3 years or accidents.
• Must have a valid California drivers license
• Transportation driver - at least 1 year experience.
• CPR/First Aid Cerified
• VDDP Certificate Preferred

Responsibilities

• Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of passengers during their transportation, while maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism.
• Safely transport clients to and from their designated destinations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of passengers and others on the road.
• Provide compassionate and courteous assistance to passengers while boarding and disembarking the vehicle.
• Offer support and ensure passengers are comfortably seated and secured during transit
• Daily task is to pick up clients and drop them off to work, school, or programs.
• Effective communication with our dispatcher/scheduler and other drivers.
• Daily logging of vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
