Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Dispatch

As an NEMT Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services. You will be responsible for monitoring non-emergency medical transportation for our clients, ensuring they arrive at their medical appointments safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring and Coordination: Check on drivers to ensure they are on schedule and address any issues that arise during transportation.

Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, clients, and healthcare providers.

Problem Solving: Address any issues or delays that arise during transportation and make note of them, reporting to management as necessary.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, client information, and any incidents that occur.

Technology Use: Learn and efficiently use dispatching software and other technology tools provided by the company.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in dispatching, transportation, or a related field is preferred.

Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Knowledge: Familiarity with local geographic areas and routes.

Attributes: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in transportation or logistics is a plus.
