Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver (1099 Contractor)

About Us

Medlift is a trusted provider of non-emergency medical transportation services. We transport patients safely and comfortably to and from medical appointments, clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, and pharmacies.

We are currently hiring responsible and compassionate drivers in the Waco, TX area.
Drivers must use their own reliable vehicle. Company vehicles are not provided.

Pay

• No cap on earnings — the more trips you complete, the more you earn

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers safely in your personal vehicle
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Provide friendly and professional assistance during boarding and exiting
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and passenger counts
• Assist passengers with loading/unloading as needed
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch
• Clean, sanitize, and organize your vehicle regularly
• Report any incidents or delays promptly

Qualifications

• Must use your own reliable vehicle
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Proof of full-coverage auto insurance and current registration
• Must pass:
• National background check
• National sex offender check
• Drug test
• Certification screenings
• Ability to assist and lift passengers when needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated

Paid Training Provided by Employer

• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Defensive Driving Course
• PASS: Passenger Assistance, Safety, and Sensitivity
• Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Training
