About Us

We provide safe, dependable, and compassionate transportation for individuals needing assistance traveling to and from medical appointments. Our clients include ambulatory passengers as well as individuals who rely on wheelchairs or mobility devices. We operate a fleet of lift‑equipped vans and standard SUVs, focusing on dignity, safety, and excellent customer care.

Position Summary

As an NEMT Driver, you will safely transport clients while assisting with mobility needs, securing wheelchairs, operating lifts, and ensuring a positive, supportive experience. You will follow scheduled routes, maintain documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatch and passengers.

Schedule Details

  • Shifts are up to 12 hours.
  • Options for 2‑day, 3‑day, or 5‑day weekly schedules.
  • All schedules include at least 2 days off per week.
  • Primary schedule: Monday–Friday.
  • Weekend shifts may be added when available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments.
  • Assist both ambulatory and non‑ambulatory passengers, including wheelchair securement and lift operation.
  • Ensure proper loading, unloading, and safe mobility assistance.
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage reports, and required paperwork.
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, clients, caregivers, and medical staff.
  • Keep vehicles clean, safe, and compliant with inspection and safety standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all safety and privacy procedures.
  • Provide friendly, patient, professional customer service at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid Oregon driver’s license and current vehicle registration.
  • Clean driving record with no recent major violations.
  • Able to pass annual background checks.
  • Regular and random drug and alcohol screening required.
  • Ability to lift, maneuver, and secure wheelchairs and mobility devices safely.
  • Ability to operate wheelchair lifts and securement systems (training provided).
  • Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow detailed procedures and routing instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating wheelchair‑accessible vehicles.
  • Background in healthcare, caregiving, transportation, or customer service.
  • Familiarity with NEMT operations or medical transportation environments.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
  • Passenger Endorsement (Preferred)
  • CDL (Required)
