Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of vehicles including shuttle buses, limousines, paratransit vans, and other commercial vehicles to transport clients to medical appointments, pharmacies, and other destinations.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service with patience and professionalism.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and ensure all safety protocols are followed before each shift.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and passenger information for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers and clients to coordinate schedules, relay important information, and address any concerns promptly.
• Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices or luggage while ensuring safety standards are met.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure the safety of passengers, yourself, and others on the road.

Experience

• Prior shuttle driving or delivery driver experience preferred; familiarity with bus driving or limousine services is a plus.
• Proven ability in commercial driving environments with a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., <PERSON> driver license).
• Experience in paratransit or heavy lifting tasks demonstrates your capability to handle diverse passenger needs safely.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers, healthcare providers, and team members.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early and ensure reliable operation.
