Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Job Summary

Yadah Inc is seeking a dependable and compassionate Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to safely transport patients to and from medical appointments. Our drivers play an essential role in helping individuals—including elderly passengers and clients with mobility needs—access important healthcare services.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating both a standard passenger van and a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, assisting passengers with wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and respectful transportation experience.

Applicants with wheelchair securement experience or prior NEMT, paratransit, or school transportation driving experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities
• Operate both standard vans and wheelchair-accessible vehicles when needed
• Assist passengers with wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices
• Ensure wheelchairs are properly secured during transport
• Provide professional, courteous, and compassionate customer service
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections
• Maintain accurate trip logs and mileage records
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules and passenger needs
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to assist passengers with mobility devices
• Ability to lift and support passengers when needed
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to pass a background check and driving record review

Pay: $144.00 - $160.00 per day
