Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Overview

We are a newly approved Illinois Medical Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider seeking a dependable and professional driver to transport patients to and from medical appointments.

This role requires punctuality, patience, and excellent customer service. Most passengers are elderly or individuals requiring assistance to appointments (ambulatory transport).

Schedule

Part-time position (3-5 days per week)

weekend availability required

Typical workday 6-8 hours depending on appointments

Compensation

$18-$22 per hour (approximately $150 per day)

Company vehicle provided

Fuel covered by company

Responsibilties

Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments

Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle if needed

Maintain a clean and professional vehicle environment

Communicate professionally with passengers and dispatch

Requirements

Valid Illinois drivers license

Clean driving record

Reliable and punctual

Comfortable assisting elderly passengers

Strong customer service skills

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
