Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and safety-minded drivers to join our team as Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers in Akron, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting clients to appointments and healthcare facilities in a professional and courteous manner while ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, clinics, therapy sessions, and other approved destinations.
• Assist passengers in and out of vehicles as needed, especially those with mobility challenges.
• Follow scheduled routes and maintain on-time performance.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and presentable.
• Provide excellent customer service with patience, respect, and professionalism.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and promptly report any delays, incidents, or vehicle issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist passengers as needed.
• Previous driving, transportation, or customer service experience preferred (but not required).
