Position: Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Careful Hands Metro Non-Emergency Medical Transportation LLC is seeking reliable and safety-conscious drivers

to transport patients to and from medical facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting

passengers in a safe and efficient manner. As a non-emergency driver, you will drive patients who are unable to

drive themselves to and from medical appointments. This typically includes elderly and disabled patients who

will need assistance being transferred from their bed to a stretcher or wheelchair. Stretcher and wheelchair

Training will be provided.

Responsibilities includes:

• Safely and efficiently transport passengers to their destinations

• Assist clients in and out of company vehicles when specified and as needed.

• Maintain a clean vehicle inside and out as needed.

• Follow all safety protocols while driving and interacting with clients.

• Utilize company software, and GPS to successfully complete routes.

• Adhere to all companies’ policies and procedures.

• Must be able to work starting early in the morning (as early as 4am but rarely) and afternoons.

• Must be able to drive in congested traffic throughout Atlanta, Griffin, Savannah and surrounding areas.

• Must be able to comply with HIPPA laws and requirements.

• Must be able to always conduct yourself in a professional manner.

Qualification:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and lean Motor Vehicle report for past 5 years

• Ability to lift heavy patients when necessary

• Familiarity with van, limousine, school bus, or paratransit driving is a plus

• Excellent customer service skills

• Pass Drug Screening

Hours and Pay Rate:

• Pay: $100 for a complete workday (regardless of number of rides in a day)

• Range of potential hours: Between 4am – 7pm (depends on trips scheduled)

• Work Location: Macon-Middle Georgia area
