Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods, ensuring timely and efficient service while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

• Operate various types of vehicles including shuttles, buses, limousines, and paratransit vehicles to transport passengers and goods.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure operational safety and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Assist with heavy lifting of luggage or cargo as needed during pickups and drop-offs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transport role is preferred.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required for certain vehicle types.
• Experience in shuttle driving, bus driving, limousine services, or paratransit is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with passengers and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
• A commitment to safety protocols and regulations in commercial driving.
