Duties

• Safely operate shuttle buses, paratransit vans, or other commercial vehicles to transport clients to medical facilities and appointments
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and passenger details in compliance with company policies
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and healthcare providers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly
• Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices or luggage in accordance with safety guidelines
• Uphold excellent customer service by providing friendly assistance, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience for all passengers

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in shuttle driving, bus driving, or as a delivery driver is highly preferred
• Proven experience as a commercial driver or in roles such as limousine or school bus driving demonstrating reliability and professionalism
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting passengers or handling equipment
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early and ensure safety compliance
• Familiarity with paratransit operations or heavy-duty driving is a plus
• Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local routes to ensure timely arrivals and departures
